ስለ ኦጋዴን ጋዝ ከበሮ በዛሳ !!!

"የቬኑዜላ ፕሬዚዳንት ፣ ሁጎ ቻቬስ ፣ ከኢኳዶር አቻቸው ጋር 5 ቢሊዮን ዶላር ሊፈጅ ይችላል የተባለለት የነዳጅ ዘይት ማጣሪያ ስምምነት አደረጉ" በተባለበት በዚህ ሰሞን የኢትዮጵያ መንግሥት በኦጋዴን ክልል በካሉብና ሃላል ያለውን ጋዝ ለማልማትና ወደ ዓለምአቀፍ ገበያ ለማቅረብ የማሌዥያ መንግሥት ንብረት ከሆነው ፔትሮናስ ጋር የ1.9 ሚሊዮን ዶላር ስምምነት ኩአላ ላምፑር ላይ መፈራረሙ እኔን አላስደነቀኝም ። ዕድሜ ልካችንን ስንታለልበት ለከረምነው የኢትዮጵያ የነዳጅ ጉዳይ አሁንም ፣ አሁንም እየደጋገማችው ግራ አታጋቡን ። አንዲት የነዳጅ ጠብታ በዓይናችን ሳናይ በራዲዮና በቴሌቪዥን ብቻ አታደንቁሩን ። ከአሥር ዓመት በፊት ይኸው የኦጋዴን ነድጅ ሊወጣ ነውና "አክሲዮን ግቡ "ብላችው ነበር ። አዲስ ዘመን ጋዜጣ ወሬው እሱ ብቻ ነበር ።የአክሲዮኑ ነገር ደብዛው ጠፋ ። የሚያነሳውም የለም ። "ኡፈይ ! "ምርጫችን ባይሆንም "ኡፈይ ! "አልን ። ስለዚሁ የነዳጃችን ጉዳይ አንድ ጓደኛዬ "ነዳጁ ያለው ቴሌቪዥኑ ውስጥ ነው " ብሎ ከነገረኝ ቆይቷል ። አምኜዋለው ። ስለእውነት ፣ የአንዲት ሰሞን የፖለቲካ ኡኡታ ካልሆነ በቀር የ1.9 ሚሊዮን ዶላር ጋዝ የማውጣትና መስመር የመዘርጋት ስምምነት ይህን ያህል ምን ሆነና ነው ከበሮ የበዛለት? የጋዙ ማስተላለፊያ ቱቦ ወይም መስመር እውነት ኦጋደንን አቋርጦ ፣ ሞቋዲሾ ወይም ሶማሊላንድ በርበራ አልያም ጅቡቲ ወደብ ድረስ ይዘረጋል ? እሺ ፣ ስንት ጊዜ ስንት ዶላር ያስፈልገዋል ? የ1.9 ሚሊዮን ዶላር ስምምነት ለዚያ ሁሉ በቂ ነው ማለት ነው ? ወይስ የኢኮኖሚና የፖለቲካ ደረቅ ቀልድ መቀለድ ስለማያሳፍራችው ያንኑ እንጨት እንጨት የሚል የገዳይ ቀልድ እንደለመዳችውት በኛ ላይ መልቀቃችው ነው ? ? ?

ወንድሞቼ ሆይ ፤ በየትኛው ሰላም በየትኛው ምቹ የልማት ወቅት ነው ይንን ለማድረግ ቆርጣችው የተነሳችውት ? ለሃገር አሳቢና ለሃገር ልማትና ዕድገት ተቆርቋሪ ብትሆኑ ኖሮ መጀመሪያ ጋዙ ካለበት የኢትዮጵያ መሬት ላይ እንደማንኛውም ዜጋ ኢትዮጵያዊ ሆነው ከሚኖሩት የኦጋዴን ሰዎቻችን ጋር መነጋገር ነበረባችው ። የኦጋዴን ህዝብ ደግሞ ከወያኔ ይልቅ የሚያደምጠው ኦብነግን መሆኑን እኛ አናውቅ እንደሆን እንጂ እናንተ አሳምራችው ነው የምታውቁት ፤ በአጩሜው ተዠልጣችዋልና !! ደሳሳ ጎጆውን በላውንቸር ከምታጋዩበት ፣ ዕርዳታ የሚያገኝበትን መንገድ ከምትዘጉበት ፣ ሴቶቻቸውን አስገድዳችው ከምትደፍሩባቸው ፣ የልማትና የሰብአዊ ሰራተኞቻቸውን ከምትገድሉባቸው ፣ ቀይ መስቀልን ከምታስወጡባቸው ይልቅ ከኦብነግ ጋር ገለልተኛ የሆኑ አስታራቂዎች ባሉበት በሶስተኛ ሃገር ላይ ብትመካከሩ ኖሮ እናንተ ከመረጣችሁት ፍጅት የተሻለ ነገር ባየን ነበር ። ግን አልሆነም ። ምክንያቱም እናንተ አንዴ በመግደል ተወልዳችዋል ። በመግደል አድጋችዋል ። በመግደል ሸምግላችዋል ። በመግደል አፍሮ የነበራችው መንደርተኞች ዛሬ በመግደል መላጣና ሸበቶ ሆናችዋል ። ብሩህ ዓይን የነበራችው ሰዎች ዛሬ በመግደል መነጽር ለብሳችዋል ። የናንተ ግድያ መቆሚያው የትና መች እንደሆነ ማንም አያውቅም ። 17 ዓመት ጫካ ገደላችው ። 16 አመት ከተማ እየገደላችው ነው ። ጋምቤላ ትሄዳላችው - ትገድላላችው ። ኦሮሚያ ትሄዳላችው - ትገድላላችው ። አዋሳ ትሄዳላችው - ትገድላላችው ። ጎንደር ትሄዳላችው - ትገድላላችው ። ኦጋዴን ትሄዳላችው - ትገድላላችው ። ከማን ጋር ነው መኖር የምትፈልጉት ? በኢትዮጵያ ምድር ከሚገኙት አብዛኛው ብሄረሰቦች ጋር ተናክሳችው ፣ ተቧጭቃችው ፣ ሆድና ጀርባ እሳትና ጭድ ሆናችው እንዴት ነው በሥልጣን መቆየት የምትፈልጉት ? ለመሆኑ እናንተ ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ምን ዓይነት ሥርዓት ለማስፈን ነው የበሽታና የረሃቡን ዱካ እየተከተላችው ከበሽታና ከረሃብ የተረፈውን ሰላማዊ ሰው ከዳር እስከ ዳር የምትፈጁት ? ? ? እና ደግሞ ከሁለት ወይም ከሶስት አልያም ከስድስት ወራት በኋላ ማነው በናንተ ጥይት የሚረፈረፈው ባለተራ ብሄረሰብ ? እሱን እያሰብኩ ነው የምጽፈው ። የግድያ ልክፍታችው ከገዛ ሃገራችን ድንበር ተሻግሮ የሰው ሃገር ድረስ መዝለቁ የታወቀ ነውና የናንተ መድፍ የሚረጭበት የሚቀጥለው ባለተራ ሃገርስ ማን ይሆን ? ? ?

ባለመድፍ ወንድሞቼ ፤ ከላይ ለጠየኳችው ጥያቄዎች ከቻላችው መልሱን ስጡኝ እንጂ የኦጋዴንን ህዝብ መግደላችውን በመገናኛ ብዙሃን ባስነገራችው ማግሥት ስለጋዝ አታውሩልን ። በ1.9 ሚሊዮን ዶላር የግለሰብ ሃብት የሆነ አነስተኛ አጂፕ የነዳጅ ማደያ እንጂ በሃገር ደረጃ የሃገር ሁሉ ከበሮ የሚደለቅለት የጋዝ ልማት ሰምቼም አላውቅም ። አንድ ቀን ለማደር ብላችው የማይሆን ዝባ ዝንኬ በመገናኛ ብዙሃን እየለቀቃችው ሚዲያውን አታርክሱት ። የአየር ጊዜውን አትጫወቱበት ። የቬኑዜላ ህዝብ ስለ 5ቢሊዮን ዶላር የነዳጅ ማጣሪያ ያወራል ፤እናንተ ገዳዮች ፈርዶባችው ስለ 1.9 ሚሊዮን ዶላር ጋዝ ወሬ ትለፈልፋላችው ። ማፈሪያዎች !!!

ወያኔዎች ፤ መግደልና ማሰር አይሰለቻችሁም ወይ?
አሥራ ስድስት አመት ሙሉ ገደላችው ። አስራችው ። አሰደዳችው ። የቻላችሁትን ያህል ገንዘብ ዘረፋችው ። ጫካ ውስጥ የረባ ምሽግ እንኳ ያልነበራችው ፍጡሮች ዛሬ ቤተመንግስት የመሳሰለ መኖሪያ ቀልሳችው ትኖሩበታላችው ፤ የተረፋችሁንም ለፈረንጅ ታከራያላችው ። በኢትዮጵያ ምድር ሁሉም ነገር የናንተ ሆኗል ። የናንተ እጅና እግር የሌለበት ወይም ያልደረሰበት የንግድም ሆነ የልማት ተቋም የለም ። የኢትዮጵያን የልጅ ልጆች ሁሉ በዱቤ ቸብችባችው ዶላሩን ወስዳችሁታል ። በውጭ ያሉ ባንኮች ለዚህ ምስክር የሚሆኑበት ጊዜ ሩቅ አይሆንም ። ከአሁን በኋላ የሚወለዱ ኢትዮጵያዊ ህፃናት ከናታቸው ማህጸን ሲወጡ በአንገታቸው የዱቤ ሠርተፊኬት አንጠልጥለው መሆኑን ካወቅን ቆይተናል ። ወባን "አይዞህ በርታ" ብላችው አዲስ አበባ የጨመራችው ጥቂት ማፍያ ሠዎች ይህ ሁሉ የናንተ ሆኖ ሰላማዊውን ዜጋ ትገድላላችው ፤ ታስራላችው ፤ ታሰቃያላችው ። ምን አድርግ ፣ ምን ሁን ነው የምትሉት ? እሽ ምን እንሁን ? ....... ንገሩን እንጂ !!!

እንዴት አንድ "ጭቆና አንገፈገፈኝ!" ብሎ ጫካ ውስጥ መከራውን የበላ ፤ የተናቀና የተዋረደ ቡድን በለስ ቀንቶት መንግሥት የመሆን እድል ሲገጥመው ተመልሶ ጨቋኝ ይሆናል ? ያውም የከፋ ! ኢትዮጵያ በታሪኳ አይታው የማታውቀው ጨቋኝና ውሸታም መንግሥት !! .....ለጋዜጠኛ የእድሜ ልክ ፍርድ የሚሰጥ መንግሥት !! ..... ሰላማዊ እንደሚሆን በተነገራቸው የምርጫ ሂደት ላይ የተሳተፉ ምሁርና ሽማግሌ ባለራእይ ዜጎችን የእድሜ ልክ እስር የሚሸልም እርጉምና በራሱ የማይተማመን መንግሥት - ያውም አሸንፈውት ። ለምረጡኝ ዘመቻ የተጠቀሙበትን የቅስቀሳ ንግግር ለመክሰስ የተጠቀመ ፤ ከዚያም የእድሜ ልክ እስራት የበየነ ዓይን አውጣ መንግሥት !! ጠመንጃችው ከጀርባቸው ዞር ቢል ባዶ ሆናችው የምቀሩ እናንተ የገዳይ ማህበር አባላት እባካችው ህዝቡን እስቲ ምን አድርግ ፣ ምን ሁን ነው የምትሉት ? እሽ ምን እንሁን ? ...... ንገሩን እንጂ !!!

በምርጫው ሰበብ ያሰራችኋቸውን አሸናፊ ተመራጮች አንገታችሁን ተይዛችው መፍታታችው ላይቀር ለምንድ ነው ሁለት አመት ሙሉ ያሰቃያችዋቸው ? የህግ ሥርዓታችሁ የበሰበሰና የገማ መሆኑን ማንም ነው የሚያውቀው ። በሱ መነገድ እንደሆን አይቻልም ። ይሄ የሰለጠኑና ሰርቲፋይድ የሆኑ ምስክሮችን ከየትም እየለቃቀመ "በምስክር ስም" ለችሎት የሚያሰማ ፍርድ ቤት የናንተ አንዱ የማጥቂያ ብርጌድ ነው እንጂ ፍርድ ቤት አይደለም ። ለምን "መብረቅ" ወይም "በርቂ" ወይም " ክብሪት ብርጌድ" ወይም "ሬጅሜንት" አትሉትም !! እንደዚያ ብትሉት ነበር የዓለም ህብረተሰብ የሚያምናችው ። ለዚያው ሰርቲፋይድ ምስክሮቹ ሰርቲፋይድ ያልሆኑበትን የእውነት ቃል ሲለፈልፉ እየተሰማ ። እነዚህን ሰዎች ለመፍታት ሺ ስም ብትሰጡ "ምህረት" ፣ "ይቅርታ ጠየቁ" ፣ "ስህተታቸውን አመኑ " ፣ ግማሽ ሃላፊነት ወሰዱ" ብትሉ ፤ የፈለጋችሁትን ቃላት ብትደረድሩ አምኖ የሚያዳምጣችው የለም ። ሰዎቹ የሚፈቱት አንገታችሁን ስለተያዛችሁ ብቻ መሆኑን ነው የምናውቀው ። የታሰሩትም ስላሸነፏችው ነው - ያውም በዝረራ ! በባዶ ! በዜሮ ! ታንክ ሳይኖራቸው...... ይህን እወቁ ። ማንም አይረሳም ። ከማንም ኢትዮጵያዊ ህሊና ውስጥ የሚፋቅ ታሪክ አይደለም ። የሚፈቱትም ስላሸነፏችሁ ነው - ታንክ ሳይተኩሱ ። እነሱን እስር ቤትአጉራችው እናንተም እኛም እንቅልፍ የለንም ። ኢትዮጵያዊው በሙሉ አይተኛም ። አልተኛም ። ይህን ታውቃላችው ። ከምርጫው በፊት የነበረው አተኛኘታችውና አተኛኘታችን ከምርጫው በኋላ ተለዋውጧል ። ግን ግን እኔ የማይገባኝ መግደል የምታቆሙት መች ነው ? ማሰርስ ? እንደናንተ ማሰርና መግደል የሚወድ የለምና !!

አንድ ነገር ልንገራችው ። አዲስ ነገር አይደለም የምነግራችው ። 16 አመት ሙሉ የኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ የነገራችውን ነው የምነግራችው ። መንገር ሳይሆን ማስታወስ ልበለው መሰል ። ሰላማዊ ሰዉን በየአስፋልትና ገጠር ላይ ስለደፋችሁት ፤ ጨለማ ቤት ስላጎራችሁት ፤ እንደለመዳችሁት 40 ሺ ወጣት ሰብስባችው ስለቀጠቀጣችው ወይም ስላሰራችው ፤ እድሜ ልክ ወይም 20ና 30 አመት ስለፈረዳችው ፤ የኢትዮጵያዊው የለውጥ ስሜት ፣ ጉጉት ፣ የመናገር ፣ የመሰብሰብ ፣ በፈለገው የሙያም ይሁን የፖለቲካ ማህበር የመደራጀት ፣ በመረጠው የፖለቲካ ሥርዓት ጎዳና መጓዝና ከልቡ በመረጠው ተመራጭ መተዳደር ተስፋው አይሞትም ። ምንም ተባለ ምን የጊዜ ጉዳይ ካልሆነ በቀር ይኸው ይፍፈጸማል ። የሠው ልጅ የለውጥ ስሜት በመግደል አንድ ቦታ አይቆምም ። ለውጥን በማሠር ማገድ አይቻልም ። ለውጥ ሂደት ነው ። ይሄዳል ። የኢትኦጵ መጽሄትና ጋዜጣ አሳታሚ ድርጅት ባለቤት የሆነውን ጋዜጠኛና አሳታሚ ሲሳይ አጌናን ወደ 100 ሺ የሚገመት ጥሬ ገንዘብ "ለምርመራ" በሚል ሰበብ ቀምቶ ዛሬ ደግሞ 100ሺ ብር እንዲከፍል ፍርድ ቤቱ መፍረዱ ምንድ ነው የሚባለው ? ። የፈለገ ዓይነት የጭካኔ ፍርድ ከፍርድ ቤቶቹ ብርጌድ ቢተኮስ ለውጥ ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ አይቀርም ። እናንተ ምን እንደምትሉን ባይገባኝም እኔ በበኩሌ እንዲገባችሁ አድርጌ የምለው አለኝ - " እያንዳንችሁ የእጃችሁን ታፍሳላችው ..... በንጹሃን ደም የበሰበሰው እጃችሁና በዘረፋና በትዕቢት ያበጠው ልባችው አንድ ቀን ፍርዱን ከኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ ያገኛል ። በመንግሥትነት ስም በቡድን ተደራጅተው የኢትዮጵያን ህዝብ የገደሉ ሁሉ ሲዋረዱ አይተናል ። እናንተም ከዚያ ውርደት አታመልጡም ።

በመጨረሻም ..... ምን አድርግ ፣ ምን ሁን ነው የምትሉት ? እሽ ምን እንሁን ? ..... ንገሩን እንጂ ! መደብደብ ፣ ማሰር ፣ መግደል ፣ በቶርቸር ማሰቃየት ፣ ማሰደድ ፣ ባንክ ዘራፊ ሆናችው "ባንክ ዘራፊ ነው .... የሰለጠነ አድማ በታኝ ፖሊስ እና ውኋ መርጪያ የለንም" ማለት አይሰለቻችሁም ። ስንት መሬት ፣ ስንት ሰላማዊ ሰውና ስንት ብር ነው መብላት የምትፈልጉት ? ? ? ? ? ጅቦች !! የሠው ጅቦች !!!!

IPI resolutions on Ethiopia journalists held in prison.

Meeting at its Annual General Assembly 14 May, 2007 in Istanbul, Turkey, the IPI members,International Press Institute, adopted a resolution calling on the Ethiopian authorities to immediately release all imprisoned journalists and refrain from punishing the media for its reporting.

The IPI membership believes that editors and journalists have been arrested as a punishment for their writing. Therefore, the IPI membership calls on the Ethiopian government to release all imprisoned journalists, halt the closer of media organizations and allow the foreign media access to the country. ኤሊያስ ክፍሌን በመክሰስ ብቻ ጊዜያችሁን አታጥፉ ። አንዴ ሃገር ውስጥ ፣ አንዴ በውጭ ሃገር....። በፍፁም አልቻላችሁትም ። ግፋ ቢል በሁለት አሮጌ ኮምፒውተሮች ነው መከራ የሚያሳችው ። እናንተ ግን ብዙ ብሮችና ብዙ የተባበረ ጭንቅላት ይዛችው ነው የምትከታተሉት ። ያውም በመክሰስ ጭምር ። የመሰላችሁን ትፅፉ የለም እንዴ ስለኤሊያስና ድረ ገፁ !! ኤሊያስ መች ከሰሳችው !! ፀሃፊ ነን የምትሉ ከሆነ ብዕራችውን አሳዩን እንጂ ሃምሳ ጊዜ ፍርድ ቤት አትሩጡ ። ኤሊያስ እኮ ስሙንና አድራሻውን በግልፅ አስቀምጦ ነው የሚፅፈው ። ሁልጊዜ እሱን የምትወነጅሉት ሰዎች የት ነው ያላችሁት ? እነማን ናችው ? Virginia-Tech, a shocking massacre.
Washington D.C. metropolitan area is a center for Ethiopian origin citizens. I used to live in Virginia and I knew so many Ethiopian origin students who have been going to Virginia,DC or Maryland Universities for their higher education program. I have shocked when I heard news about the killings of students, professors and staff members at Virginia Tech.I know it is tough for families, friends and communities who lost their loved ones.For me it is a nightmare and an unacceptable on this bright century, and an educational institutions should be out of gun.

For some of us who born or grew up in civilized and rich country, situation of human rights in Ethiopia has been not as we expected.Everyday when we are trying to see some thing positive about our country's current situation from the international media outlets, unfortunately, we have been colliding with killing or jailing words. Today, I have read an article of cruelty of Ethiopian government in Western Ethiopia from the Sanfrancisco Chronicle, page A-8.

Report of torture in Ethiopia are wide spread
For those who believes the principle of democracy but don't want to read about shocking stories of Ethiopian innocent citizens - killed or tortured - by Ethiopian government, please, read the Sanfrancisco Chronicle report to update your information.

Ghimbi-Ethiopia :
First,the police officer threw Tesfaye in to a dark cell. Then, each day for 17 days it was the same routine: Electric shocks on his legs and back, followed by beatings with rubber truncheons. Four or five officers would then surrounded and kick him. At last, a large bottle of water would be tied around his testicles. He'd pass out. (Read full report)

Ethiopian Journalists - Out of Prison Picture

Thank you the freedom of the press fighters,you are real Ethiopians.Being independent journalist and working on free media is not easy in Ethiopia.As we had been followed closely your case and situation in prison we will watch others who have been in prison now and your life after prison.The Ethiopian people and international community knows that you were prisoned seventeen months only because of your journalism profession.The government should compensate you.You deserve compensation from your jailer and award from the international freedom of the press fighter organizations.

Concerning EFJA, Ethiopian Free Press Journalists Association, especially; Gash Kifle Mulat, Dawit Kebede, Aklilu Tadesse and girma Endrias, you are wonderful! I know life could be tough in exile, but you are doing best job for voiceless fellow journalists rather than living for yourselves and all your families. I didn't get an opportunity to see an organization and leaders like EFJA and Ethiopian Teachers Association, ETA, throughout my life.I am so proud of EFJA which sheltered all independent journalists in our country , Ethiopia and makes louder voice for its member freedom of the press fighters. Please, continue what you are doing for those independent journalists who have been suffering in jail a lot and for those who crossed the border to save their lives and living in a harsh and bad situation as refugee in different part of the World.

Further more, I really appreciate your media coverage for those oppressed journalists who had been employed by Ethiopian government, subjected to lie their own people and finally had been abandoned the more jailer and killer government in Africa. First, High level officials of the country,Ethiopia,finally have start thinking as human being.But they need to understand more and more.As they said, now, no genocide and high treason occurred after the result of the national election of may 2005, people knew that there was no "plotting to overthrow the government " or "incitement to rebellion."That's the fact on the ground.

Second, Mr.Sisay Agena, publisher of Ethop and Abay monthly magazine and weekly news papers, freed from his charge, good thing.What about his dozen computers and huge amount of money that taken or robbed by government security agents in the name " for investigation purpose" during his arrest late 2005? The court should give order to police department,investigation cell or security agents to give back all his own personal work equipment and money,too.

Third, we know that Ethiopia has not enough money to cover annual budget of the country's expense as a country. This country depends on out side source for its governmental function.
So, spending donated money or other form of outsiders support on this type of false accusation,torturing and killing innocent citizens of the land every corner is meaningless.Waste of time, waste of manpower for meaningless purpose, no one benefited from this kind of kid's play. Government should work on the basis of truth.That way helps people and a country to work together for a common agenda-fighting poverty,aids,access for pure drinking water,basic health service and so on.

8 Ethiopian free press journalists who have been in jail since late 2005 and charged in fictitious genocide and treason have been freed today.Including journalists court ordered prison authorities to release 25 defendants.Beyond ordering prison officials to free them immediately there is no confirmation about their release.

These are the names of journalists;

1. Sisay Agena, 2.Eskinder Nega,3.Serkalem Fasil,4.Fasil Yenealem,5.Dereja Habtewold,6.Feleke Tibebu,7.Nardos Meaza,8.Zekarias Tesfaye.

The Trial Postponed Again

The trial of the main opposition political party leaders,civic activists and independent journalists postponed again.This time for Monday,April 2nd,2007.The court presented the summary of the audio,video and documentary evidence today.It said the rest of the prosecutor's evidence will be summarized and presented on Monday,April 2nd,2007.The court was packed,tens people couldn't get sits.The judges said that they wouldn't continue in the after noon as one of the judges was sick.

Last week one of the judges didn't show up and the court hearing was ended up with in five minutes.Next Monday, really, we don't know who going to be sick!!!!! Grand Rapids Celebrated Adwa

The 111th anniversary of the victory of Adwa celebrated by Ethiopians residing around the Greater Grand Rapids area on Saturday, March 3, 2007.

On March 1896, invader Italian forces leaded by professional military generals, well-trained and experienced troops and organized by heavy and sophisticated weapons had tried their best to occupy the whole Ethiopia but, the invading war plan didn't work as planed. Because, Emperor Menelik II and his wife Empress Taitu were at the war front of Adwa to lead the freedom lover and unconventional freedom fighter patriots of Ethiopia who were mobilized and volunteered from every corner of the country under one oath- Unity and Freedom.

The main cause of the battle of Adwa was the aim of the Italian government who had wider and longer dream of occupying of the land of Ethiopia as many African nations who were under colony of different European powerful countries.

Chairperson of the Association,Mr. Bayei Desta said interms of freedom the victory of Adwa have been playing a signifant role not only for Ethiopia but also for entire Africa.

The Adwa anniversary of Grand Rapids was organized by Ethiopian Community Association of Greater Grand Rapids. Participants of the event were served by poem, video, food, beverages and live music band at the gathering hall.

Hard snow blowing

Difficult and harsh snow blowing in the State of Michigan has continued for the second day. Moving here and there for daily necessities getting hard. Residents, especially ; in Grand Rapids and Kentwood area confined in their apartment or house for safety. Meles Zenawi,Dollar thirsty-in a new style of begging under the name of Somali people

Armed war lords and clan leaders,who became unelected King of the Somali people,by the help of killer weapons under the name of Union of Islamic Courts(UIC),who knows about tomorrow,temporarily driven out of the capital and other cities and has gone far to the jungle with in two weeks of conventional war. Those,the so-called leaders of the UIC,were able to run the Somali people under the shadow of new governing method or principle (no movie,no foot ball/soccer,no mirra/chat) for about six months. That principle and technically mounted heavy machine gun pick up trucks has destroyed by invader Ethiopian army and Transitional Federal Government of Somali forces. All human beings brain doesn't working in the same way or direction,and we heard "thanks" words from supporters of the TFG,and different attitude from others who opposes invasion of neighboring countries. I do not worry about that. Because both sides has their own reason.

Backed by heavily armed and well-trained Ethiopian army,the TFG, controlled all the country,except Somaliland and Puntland,and has started functioning or acting as a government in the middle of its own people and land. What's next for the TFG is,unfortunately, accepting Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi as Somali's saver and giving green light for his unsuccessful ruling strategy that has been rejected and failed on his country,Ethiopia,for the last fifteen years. That would be a big mistake in Somalia's government history if it continue on Meles's track. Because democratic process based on Somali's people culture and way of life is better than any foreign ideology that could create national disaster and identity crisis. Specially,as a concerned blogger,I would like to advise that,not allow and copy Prime Minister Meles Zenawi's well-poisoned and full of hate political picture for Somali's democratization foundation. Meles Zenawi is a moderate fascist in a modern or new era in Africa.

On Prime Minister Meles Zenawi's side,already he got an opportunity of begging dollars under the name of Somalia peace and stability in a new style of begging. Everyone as remembered,after Kismayu(Somalia)on his press conference and Parliament meeting he mentioned openly with out any diplomatic words the words " We are poor",and " We need money",several times. In my understanding that is shame. Invading ,someone's country for a dollar is shame. No body has the right to trespass a private property,not country, if there is human beings law that could protect or treat all man kinds equally,and before getting inside Somalia cities or interfering in someone's national issue please get fix your political problems in your country. Go ahead Kaliti,Dedessa,Tolay, Ziway,Maekelawi and other concentration camps. These camps are closer to your palace than Mogadishu or Kismayu,and watch your country 's pocket than begging foreign currency in the name of an innocent poor Somali's soul.

Conclusion: Please,don't use Somali's problem to extend your ugliest ruling age as tablet.Give Ethiopians politics for the new democrat generation and get your prison time,exile or retirement session.Ethiopia's tired about you.15 years as King of Kings dictator leader, oh my God ! ..... more than 25 years as political party leader , and on killing chair.....wow !!

Bad image of the War between Somalia Union of Islamic Courts , SUIC, militia and pro-Transitional Somali Federal Government , TSFG , forces has started. Few countries are trying to play life and death game on Somalis land as " rental space" on the expense of Somali citizens life . Somalis has the right to kick out all forces , not only Ethiopian army but also Eritrean army and others instead of watching this war as a landlord who granted his own private property for long term lease .

Wake up Somali people !! Ethiopia and Eritrea has their own an unfinished business on their common borders . The border dispute is still fresh . As you know , because of the UN peace keepers who able to monitor their military build up movement they couldn't get an opportunity to replay their war game for the second time . Further more , leaders of both countries has big internal unsolved problems . That's why they are using your land as a rental open space .

Eritrea Wednesday warned that the current stalemate over its tense border with Ethiopia was "not sustainable" and refused to rule out a new war against its arch-foe Horn of Africa neighbor. At the same time, Asmara repeated denials that Somalia had become a proxy battleground for it and Addis Ababa amid reports that the two countries are backing rival factions there to settle scores from their bloody 1998-2000 conflict.

Two days after Eritrea and Ethiopia both rejected plans by a UN-appointed border panel to demarcate their contentious frontier on paper, further raising tensions, a senior Eritrean official said that all options were on the table.

"Eritrea is a sovereign country and we cannot accept the reality of our territory being occupied by a foreign power indefinitely," said Yemane Gebremeskel, director of Eritrean President Issaias Afewerki's office.

"I don't want to speculate on what can happen, but I can only tell you this situation is not sustainable, it cannot be acceptable legally and there is no reason why it should stay this way," he told reporters in an interview in Asmara.

On Monday, the two nations boycotted a meeting of the Eritrea Ethiopia Boundary Commission in The Hague designed to gather comment about a proposal to delineate the border on maps without marking it on the ground.

Eritrea accepts the panel's ruling, which awarded it the flashpoint town of Badme, but wants it be physically laid out on the ground, while Ethiopia, which rejects the boundary, said that the commission was acting outside its mandate.

The commission's proposal appeared aimed at easing growing tension between the two countries that many fear could lead to a renewal of their war and spill over into Somalia, threatening a wider regional conflict.

The stalemate has left the status of the 1,000-kilometer (620-mile) border unclear six years after a peace deal and raised tensions, heightened by UN reports that both nations are militarily active in Somalia.

Yemane refused to say whether Eritrea, which has repeatedly denounced the international community for failing to press Ethiopia to accept the commission's binding ruling, would fight to take the territory in question.

But he repeatedly stressed that "all options" were open.

"As far as what our options are, I think these are options we can exercise at any point in time," Yemane said, declining to elaborate.

Yemane also denied charges by UN experts and diplomats that Eritrea is trying to exploit the situation in Somalia by arming a powerful Islamist movement that is girding for war with a weak government supported by Ethiopia.

"All these attempts to portray Somalia as a proxy battlefield between Ethiopia and Eritrea are misguided," he said. "There is no reason why we should go to Somalia to settle scores with Ethiopia."

ERITREAN PRESIDENT ASSAILS US FOR STOKING CONFLICTS

Eritrean President Issaias Afewerki Wednesday slammed the United States for fanning conflicts in the Horn of Africa region, particularly in Somalia, where an imminent war threatens to engulf the volatile region. From Eritrea's independence struggle to its simmering border row with archrival Ethiopia and the unrest in the war-devastated Somalia, Afewerki blamed Washington for stoking the conflicts for its interests.

Tracing its role to the end of World War II, he said that Washington had favored the existence of Ethiopia over Eritrea that put up decades of armed struggle for independence from Ethiopia, of which it was formerly a province.

"Our conflict is historically [tied] with the United States," he said in an interview. "Eritrea could have enjoyed its right to self-determination after the Second World War, but the United States ... came with a global strategy deciding the fate of Eritrea to be somehow linked with Ethiopia because Ethiopia was considered to be a major proxy in the region," said Issaias, whose nation got independence in 1993.

He also blamed the United States for their unresolved border row with Ethiopia despite insisting that the matter had been resolved by the decision of an independent border commission in 2002.

"Why was it [ruling] not implemented? Because the United States doesn't want to implement the decision. They like to live on conflict. They create conflicts and exploit conflict. That's it," he said.

In addition, the Eritrean leader, himself chided for a raft of human rights violations in his tiny Red Sea state, said that Washington was using Addis Ababa as its "tools and puppets" to navigate and destabilize the region.

"We have no problem with Ethiopia ... As far as the border is concerned, it is resolved ... now, history is repeating itself and the United States is coming and complicating the situation," he added.

The Eritrean leader charged the world's superpower with fomenting fighting in lawless Somalia, where a powerful Islamic movement and a weak government are on the edge of an all-out war.

The Somali Islamists have accused Ethiopia of sending thousands of troops to Somalia to protect the government, but Addis Ababa maintains that it sent only a few hundred military advisers.

Tension soared after the Somali peace talks collapsed November 1, heightening fears of a conflict that diplomats and analysts fear could draw in Eritrea and Ethiopia on rival sides after their own unresolved 1998-2000 border war.

Eritrea has been accused of supplying weapons and sending some 2,000 soldiers to back the Islamists, with Issaias saying: "This is a crazy statement, not only false but insane."

And instead, Issaias said that Washington had accused the Somali Islamic leaders of links to terrorism groups, including Al Qaeda in order to intervene.

"We don't want the United States to be involved under the umbrella of fighting terrorism, because it will be a complication," he added.

The Islamists have rejected the planned deployment of peacekeepers, a position that Eritrea and Djibouti support.

"We support the choice of the Somali people. We don't accept, agree or condone any external intervention under any pretext," Issaias said. "Allow Somalis to find a solution to this problem, don't intervene. They might not find a solution instantly, but give them a chance to reconcile with themselves and reconstitute Somalia," he added.

Somalia has been without a functioning central authority since the 1991 ousting of strongman Mohamed Siad Barre, and the two-year-old transitional government has been unable to assert control.

ኢትዮጵያውያን በሐገር ውስጥም ሆነ ከሐገር ውጭ በከፍተኛ መጠን በአንድነት ቆመው የጋራ ድምፃቸውን ሲያስተባብሩ የቆዩ ቢሆንም ሚያዝያ 30 በአዲስ አበባ ጎዳናዎች የታየው ትዕይንት ፣ በክፍለ ሃገር ከተሞችም ተቃዋሚዎችን ለመደገፍ የወጣው ሕዝብ ብዛት ፣ እንዲሁም በዩኤስ አሜሪካ ዋሽንግተን ላይ የታየው ሰልፍ ከመቼውም ጊዜ በላይ የላቀ ፣ በኢትዮጵያውያን ዘንድ የለውጥ ተስፋን የሰነቀ ሆኖ ቀጥሏል ። ይህ ትብብር ፣ መነሳሳትናበሕዝቡ ውስጥ በከፍተኝ ደረጃ የሰረፀው የለውጥ ስሜት ከእንግዲህ የጠመንጃ አገዛዝ በዚች ሐገር እንዲያበቃ የማድረግ ኃይል እንዳለውም ሊሰመርበት ይገባል ። በከፍተኛ ስሜት የተነሳሳንና ድሉን ማሽተት የጀመረ ሕዝብ ድምፁ ሲቀለበስ ፣ የጉልበት አገዛዝ ሲነግስ ከቶውንም በዝምታ አይመለከትም ። እንደተለመደው ነገሮችን በማምታታትና በማስፈራራት በመጣንበት መንገድ እንቀጥላለን የሚሉ ካሉ አቋማቸውን እንደገና ቢመረምሩ ከማንም በላይ ተጠቃሚዎች እነርሱ ይሆናሉ ።

ዛሬ ሥልጣን ላይ ያለው የአቶ መለስ መንግሥት የዛሬ 14 ዓመት ሥልጣን ላይ ሲወጣ የሶሻሊስቱ ጎራ ፈርሶ ፣ የካፒታሊዝም ርዕዮተዓለም ነግሶ ፣ ዓለም በተለይም ታዳጊ ሐገራት የልዕለ ኃያሏ ዩኤስ አሜሪካ ተከታይ ከመሆን ውጭ አማራጭ ያልነበረበት ሁኔታ ነበር ። በመሆኑም በትግል ላይ በነበረበት ወቅት እንደ ደርግ ሁሉ ሶሻሊዝምን ሲያቀነቅን የነበረውና እንዲያውም የአልባኒያ ሶሻሊዝም አድናቂና ተከታይ ሆኖ የዘለቀው የሕወሓት/ኢሕአዴግ ቡድን ወደ ስልጣን ሲመጣ ባሉት አስገዳጅ ዓለም አቀፍ ሁኔታዎች የመድበለ ፓርቲ ሥርዓትንና ሃሳብን የመግለጽ ነፃነትን በመቀበል በዚህች ሐገር የዴሞክራሲ መስረት እንዲጣል ማድረጉ በምንም የማይስተባበል ቢሆንም ፣ በሐገራችን ከነበሩት መንግሥታት ሁሉ ፍፁም በተለየ ሁኔታ በኢትዮጵያውያን ላይ ጥርጣሬንና ጥላቻን በማንገስ ፣ በኢትዮጵያውያን ኪሳራ ባዕዳንን ለማበልፀግ የተንቀሳቀሰ ፣ ዘረኝነትን ያነገሰ የጥላቻ ቡድን መሆኑን ፀሃይ በወጉ ያገኘው ሃቅ ነው ። ስለ ኢትዮጵያዊነት መናገር የተወገዘበት ፣ ስለ ባንዲራ ክቡርነት ማዜም እንደወንጀል የተቆጠረበት ፣ ሰዎች በእውቀታቸው ሳይሆን በዘራቸው ወደ ሥልጣን የተሰባሰቡበት ፣ በዘር ልዩነት ዕልቂት የነገሰበት ፣ ንፁሃን የተፈጁበትና የተጨፈጨፉበት አስቀያሚና አሳፋሪ ሁኔታን በኢትዮጵያ ያነገሰው ዛሬ በሥልጣን ላይ ያለው የአቶ መለስ ቡድን ነው ።

አቶ መለስ ስለ ኢትዮጵያውያን አንድነት የሚነገረውን ለማጣጣልና ልዩነትን ለማስፋት " የአክሱም ሃውልት ለወላይታው ምኑ ነው ?" ከማለታቸውም ባሻገር ታሪካዊውንና የነፃነት ተምሳሌት ሆኖ የዘለቀው ሰንደቅ አላማችን " ጨርቅ " ነው በማለት ማራከሳቸው የማይረሳ ነው ። ከግንቦት 1997 ምርጫ ዋዜማና ከምርጫው ወዲህ ስለ አክሱም ሃውልት የተናገሩትንና ስለ ባንዲራ የሰጡትን አስተያየት ማስተባበል ጀምረዋል ። ማስተባበያቸው ግን ፍፁም እውነትነት የለውም ። ዛሬ ከ 14 ዓመት በኃላ ጉዳዩን አንስቶ ምክንያት መደርደር ዋነኛ ግቡ በስልጣን ለመቀጠል ለኢትዮጵያውያን የተሰጠ የአፍ ጉቦ እንደሆነ ይታመናል ። አንዳንዶች እንደሚሉት ጠ/ሚ/ር መለስ ተፀፅተውም ከሆነ ከእሳቸው የሚጠበቀው የዕብሪት ንግግሮችን በውሸት መቀባባት ሳይሆን ፣ በይፋ ይቅርታ መጠየቅ ነው ። ከይቅርታም በላይ የሚሆነውና አቶ መለስ ዜናዊን ለዘለዓለም በመልካምነት የሚያስታውሳቸው ፣ የእስከዛሬውን ግፍና ጉድፍ ነቃቅሎ የሚጥልላቸው ግንቦት 7/1997 በሐገራችን የተከሄደውን የምርጫ ውጤት ያለአንዳች ማጭበርበር በፀጋ ሲቀበሉ ብቻ ነው ።

ታዛቢዎች ባሉባቸው አዲስ አበባን በመሳሰሉ ዋና ዋና ከተሞች በዜሮ የተሸኘው የአቶ መለስ ቡድን በገጠር በከፍተኛ ድምፅ አሸንፊያለው ሲል የሰጠው መግለጫ ጥርጣሬን የሚጋብዝ ከመሆኑም ባሻገር ፣ በተግባር ሲታይ በማጭበርበር የተሞላ ስለመሆኑም ማስረጃ ቀርቧል ። በመሆኑም የአቶ መለስ ቡድን ለሕዝብ ድምፅ በመገዛት በዚህች ሐገር ታሪክ መስራት ይጠበቅበታል ። ከእንግዲህ በጉልበት ለመቀጠል መሞከር የማያዋጣ እና ውርደትን የሚጋብዝ ከመሆኑም ባሻገር የስርዓቱን ወንጀልም የከፋ ያደርገዋል ። በጠመንጃ እንሞክረውና ካልሆነ እንሸሻለን የሚል ከልክ ያለፈ የስልጣን ጥም መድረሻው ከርቸሌ ሊሆን እንደሚችል ማሰቡ አይከፋም ።

Nation without a journalists - 40 fired , 20 defected

October 17,2006 (Tuesday)

Non-stop campaign to eradicate Ethiopian journalists,independent and government,from their job and the country has been continue. Now it seems the TPLF government officials have decide to run the country without a journalist.

With in the last two months 40 journalists who worked for the state controlled media and the ruling dictator party news networks had fired from their job, and 20 others had defected the country in the last 6 months.

Based on Ethiopian Freepress Journalists Association(EFJA),update report which was released on June 10,2006, on the Ethio-Dutch Journalists conference,Amsterdam,The Netherlands,about 100 journalists from independent media are in exile,including EFJA president Mr.Kifle Mulat.

Tesfaye Gessesse,a journalist from Ethiopian Press Agency has defected to Greece. Journalist Tesfaye's escape makes the total number of defected government journalists to 15.

Ethiopian Television2 journalist , Martha Beley ,host of FM 97.1 radio ,Abebe Feleke ,and deputy editor-in-chief of Addis Lessan newspaper , Tesfahun Demissie Dargie have defected to USA and Europe.

According to an unidentified EMF web site source journalists who working for the Ethiopian government media and refuse order from the authorities to misinform the public are threatened to death.

Host of FM radio 97.1 , Mr Dagmawi Tariku , has defected
to Cananda , according to EMF web site report . EMF states that because of total absence of freedom of the press and intolerable situation unfolding in Ethiopia journalist Dagmawi Tariku has decided to escape his country .

The defection of this journalist has increased the total number of journalists who were working for the government and now living in exile from ten to eleven with in the last six months .

We heard the voice's of human rights activist Almaz Mequanint again , after a long time , through Ethiopian internet media by the title of "the forgotten victims of Wonji " - thanks Almaz.
She is crying for those voiceless fluoride victim Ethiopians , alone. She need immediate attention and any type of support from all Ethiopians around the World , especially , those human beings born and grew up in Wonji , Wonjishoa ,Metehara and Nazareth. Fluoride victims , observers and witnesses should not locked up their mouths for this kind of problem for ever , including Holland citizens.
You have a generation responsibility to convince the International community. You are part of victims family. You are part of victims of neighbor. You are part of victims society , and how many years do you need to reveal the truth ? Now it is time to speak up the truth for International community. So , unveil the truth !!
According to my information , several well educated Ethiopian origin fluoride victims have been living and working aboard with their internal pain. Those well educated professionals have more and better access and opportunity than victims of backhome who sleeps year to year together with their broken bones and rotten tooth with out hope , promise and justice. Please , try to be voice of the voiceless victims.
We fine - thanks God - but what about those voiceless elders and youngsters ?
Let's try to do our best....Let's to write letters and petitions to HVA-international , Holland diplomatic missions through out the Globe , Government of Holland , Royal family of Holland , and World human rights organizations. " Don't get closed into Ethiopian politics ! ...Ethiopian politics is a nuclear
bomb ; it hurt you.....it kill you . It's dangerous , and just give your political opinion to Woyane's people !!... they have ability to fix it .... you.... stay a distance , nothing concern you about your country , and don't get involved ."

We have been heard or read this type of opinion from Woyanes and pro-Woyane's media on daily bases , especially after May 2005 National Parliamentary Election's . If politics could be that much beast - hey Woyane and Pro- Woyane's - where you been for about 15 years ? , and what are you doing in side the National palace ?.....We have seen friends who have been an active in supporting Woyane's become rich overnight , like magic . Who owns farms in fruitful countryside ?.....Who runs big hotels in several towns ?.....Like those an active restless cadre members , fake Church and Mosque bosses told us to shut up our mouths for a years . In other hand , real spiritual leaders decided to live in exile rather than cooperating with bloodthirsty shameless killers who gun down an innocent mothers and babies for their own private interests , I support real God servers.

People's who talks a lot about the kindness of Woyane's , don't want to talk about the killings , mass arrests , tortures and rapes that occurred during the last 15 years by Woyane's government. If you support Development , Peace , Human Rights , Democratic Election Process , but you don't want to criticizes Woyane's wrong doing on an innocent citizens , stop right there , go cave.

We need a political party leader who leads the people properly , peacefully , with out discrimination based on equality and unity. Gender , race , religion and political attitude should not be our divider. Ethiopia should not be sweet home for particular group and bitter for others . Ethiopia should not be real motherland for bunch of people and step motherland for the rest of the people . A political party leader who leads a country of 74 million people should not to be a country's problem every year , and don't say for us Ethiopian politics is a nuclear bomb !!!

Addis Ababa,Wolega,West Shoa, East Shoa,Gondar,Gojam,Bale,Arsi,Harerge,Ogaden,Southern Ethiopia-throughout the Country people's have talking about change.Weekday...weekend...allday...allnight...talking,talking and talking peacefully about democratic change...Democratic rights. But nobody ready to listen them.Who should listen the people? Government !...TPLF government ? Forget about it !!! They are so busy. Stealing people's money is not easy job. Stealing people's vote is not easy duty.Building villas, G+2,3,4,5, transferring foreign aid from the poorest Country to the richest is not easy practice.Bank of Canada,Bank of Malaysia,NewYork Bank,we didn't know about those banks before. We hadn't any idea about those big financial institutions - thanks to our high level bunch of loser TPLF members - now days we have a little bit information about their account in those Banks.
Peaceful citizens were killed by the government gunmen with out any reason.Government officials were not made any arrest or investigate the case. Because they are so busy.As many corrupted and blood thirsty African leaders these guys don't waste a split of minute for their own citizens problem.Why ?....I said before..... they are so busy,and who cares about poor Ethiopia,Ethiopians,Democratic change,nonpartisan inquiry commission,freemedia,independent political organization,independent professional union,freedom of assembly and others?????????

MOGADISHU, Feb 16, 2006 (AFP) - Rival Somali sub-clans battled over pasture
and wells just inside Ethiopia leaving at least 12 dead and more than two
dozen wounded in a second day of fighting Thursday as competition for water
and pasture heats up in the drought-stricken region, officials said.

The clashes in the Ethiopian village of Yamarug began Wednesday between
heavily armed militia members from the Marehan and Majereteen factions of
the larger Darod clan in a dispute over the precious resources, they said.

Yamarug is a remote and desolate outpost in southeastern Ethiopia only
about 30 meters (yards) from the border with central Somalia and eyewitness
accounts of the fighting were sketchy.

At least 12 and as many as 17 people were reported to have been killed,
according to officials in nearby towns in Somalia where the wounded from
the two factions were brought for treatment.

A nurse at the hospital in Galkayo, where the Majereteen casualties were
brought, said the facility was treating 17 injured fighters who spoke of
the same number being killed on both sides in the two days of fighting.

"They are saying the same number were killed," the nurse told AFP on
condition of anonymity.

In the town of Abudwaq, where the Marehan casualties were brought, a
district official said the nine wounded spoke of 12 people being killed
although he said the actual number would likely rise.

"The fighting has not stopped and miltiamen from both sides heading to
reinforce the area," the official told AFP.

In the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa, an official with the information
ministry confirmed the clashes but could not confirm their seriousness or
any casualties.

"There were clashes between Somali subclans at the border," the official
said. "We have sent out a fact-finding mission and are waiting for the
results of the investigation."

Tensions between the two factions have run high for some time but they have
managed to live together in the Yamarug area for years without violence,
according to Somalia observers.

They said those tensions likely erupted into fighting due to the scorching
drought that has hit east Africa, threatening more than eight million
people with starvation in four countries, including Ethiopia and Somalia.

About 3.4 million people -- 1.7 million each in southeast Ethiopia and
southern and central Somalia -- are at-risk and in need of dire assistance
to stave off famine, according to UN agencies.
